骨格筋の修復と再生に与えるマッサージの影響

(Butterfield TA,2008)などのデータから、

マッサージ(CCL)は運動後の筋肉の回復に効果があるとされている。

(Waters-Banker C,2014)ではマッサージの影響は実施した側に出るとしているが、

ウエイトトレーニングなどの実験では、

負荷をかけた反対側にも影響が出ていることが知られる。

本研究ではラットを用い筋を委縮させ、

マッサージが実施した脚と反対脚にも影響が出ることを調べた。

結果、マッサージをした群は何もしない群と比較して筋肉の肥大が有意に見られた。

Itg7aはマッサージ群において有意に上昇した。

マッサージを実施していない脚も、何もしていない脚に比べて有意に筋肉が肥大した。

筋肉の合成が増加した理由は翻訳の増加であろうと考えられる。

委縮させた後の期間において、タンパク質合成とDNA合成の速度はマッサージした側で大きかった。

これに関してはCCLによって衛星細胞が増殖するように導いたのであると提案する。



なるほどなぁ、という感じで面白い論文でした。

人間でどこまで効果があるのかは不明ですが、

言われてみればそうだよね、

というのが多くありました。

マッサージによる交感神経などの刺激といった点での継続調査が必要でしょうが、

術後や運動が出来ない状態における効果としては面白そうです。
